Page 1 of 2 General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Minister of Defence, Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs and Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan lead a strong team of UAE riders in tomorrow's 160-km World Endurance Championship pre-ride.Shaikh Mohammad, Shaikh Mansour and Shaikh Hazza, who have all qualified for the world championship, the star-studded UAE line-up consists of Shaikh Rashid Bin Mohammad Al Maktoum, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Al Maktoum, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Mohammad Al Maktoum, Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Al Maktoum, Shaikh Rashid Bin Hamdan Al Maktoum, Shaikh Khalid Bin Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and other top riders. Princess Haya is also expected to start in the relatively small but quality field, which will be finalised later today after the pre-ride veterinary check.
The FEI CEI three-star ride, sponsored by Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation (PCFC), gets off to a mass start at 5.30 am tomorrow at the Dubai International Endurance City in Seih Assalam.
A CEI two-star ride over a distance of 120-kms starting today completes an important duo of rides with just six weeks left for the World Endurance Championship to be staged here at the same venue.
Last year's champion of the UAE domestic season, Mubarak Khalifa Bin Shafya, Ali Khalfan Al Jahouri, Ali Mohammad Al Muhairi, Sultan Bin Sulayem, Jaber Bittar are some of the more prominent riders who add to the very competitive start list.
